Senior Photos at Wingaersheek Beach with Molly
Molly, Class of 2023 – Chelmsford High School
When Molly mentioned she wanted to do her session at the beach we discussed lots of different locations. We have lots of options for beachside senior photos in New England. Salisbury Beach, Plum Island & Lynch Park are all great locations we could choose from. Molly had heard of Wingaersheek Beach in Gloucester (on TikTok) but had never been there before. I went to college at Salem State, so I knew how wonderful the beaches are in Gloucester.
We picked a gorgeous evening in August to meet up at Wingaersheek Beach. A handful of other photographers also had the same idea, but thankfully there isn’t a bad spots at the beach. We were all able to get some amazing shots and not be in each others way. Since we shot on a week day and right at sunset the beach wasn’t super busy. I loved the variety we were able to get with the sand dunes, the rocky area and the ocean.
We started Molly’s session near the dunes and worked our way down to the water. Molly had 2 adorable summer dresses that she wanted to wear for her senior photos. Changing at the beach wasn’t a problem at all! We just popped open my changing tent and she was able to change quickly into her next look.
I can’t wait to photograph more senior photos at Wingaersheek Beach. July and August are a perfect time for a senior photo session at the beach. If you are interested in having your senior photos taken at the beach reach out in May to get on my calendar for July or August!
