I love this Burlington High senior photo session from this summer. Haylee plays tennis and wanted to incorporate that into her session. I scouted a tennis court we could shoot at, that was close to the other locations she wanted to use. This spot was just a few minutes away from Great Brook Farm. We also made another quick stop at a nearby church that I found that had this awesome pollinator garden, before we ended at Great Brook Farm.
Usually I like to mix up the image order for my blog post to show, but today we are going to roll in order. This way they are grouped by the different locations we shot at. This blog really showcases the variety of outfits and looks you can get when you book an hour+ senior photo session. We made it through 5 different outfits during Haylee’s session. It was a little bit of a mad dash at the end as we were losing light, so I usually recommend 4 outfits max, but if you can change quick we can make it happen. The last one she was probably only in for 5 minutes max!
After the tennis courts we drove basically next door to this hidden spot that has a little pollinator garden. I have some BTS videos from this session. On my to do list is to put them together into a instagram reel because it definitely illustrates how what you see during your session versus how your photos look. I love how it looks like she’s in a field of flowers!
Last stop for her session was Great Brook Farm right on the Chelmsford – Carlisle border. This spot is great as it offers a variety of locations right near each other. It’s definitely turning into one of my favorite spots for senior sessions.
These next two outfits were easy to incorporate and didn’t take a ton of time away from shooting, because it was just changing her top. A nice white top is such a classic look for senior photos. I also loved the green patterned top.
The last look was this cute denim jumpsuit. Haylee did her final quick change and we shot these right in the parking lot. Look closely in the last two images of the blog, you’ll see the edge of the parking lot. I told you there were so many great spots at Great Brook Farm.

Your work is seriously stunning! I love the variety between the outfits and locations too. What a lucky family to have these treasures from their daughter’s senior year!
Thank you for the kind comments, Kami!
I love that you incorporated her passion for tennis. My absolute favorite images would have to be the ones in the flowers. Isn’t it funny how we as photographers can find the beauty in little hidden places? Well done!
Thank so much for your kind comments! I love those flower images too, the ability to surprise our clients with a location they think isn’t going to be great is so fun.
