Another wedding that is more then overdue for the blog. We love shooting at Flag Hill Winery in Lee NH. This was our third wedding at the winery and we hope to be heading back there soon. It’s a gorgeous venue and the staff is also fantastic.

Cheryl and David are definitely the definition of a laid back couple. It was a fuss free day for sure. We started the day at Wingate Salon and Spa in Stratham NH. The bride, her sister and friends were all getting ready here. They had a lovely room for everyone to use to get ready in.

The ladies at Wingate doing an amazing job on makeup on our bride and her sister. Next we headed over to Flag Hill Winery, where we spent the rest of the day. It was a fall wedding with lots of great fall decor. The favors for the guests were yummy jam from Above the Dam Jam. Before the ceremony we all came together to sign the ketubah. Then it was time for Cheryl to put on her dress and take care of all the final details. It was a gorgeous fall day for the ceremony which took place outside on the Flag Hill Winery Property. They have an amazing ceremony location underneath two huge trees.
During the ceremony a huge formation of birds took off and flew overhead. I think they were geese, but can’t be sure. A quick group photo right after the ceremony! Then it was off to shoot some portraits of Cheryl and David. I mentioned before how they are such a laid back couple. They opted not to have a wedding party so we got to focus on capturing images of just them. We love the rustic wood used on the building for the winery. It makes a great backdrop for sure.
After some portraits and cocktail hour it was time for the reception to start. It started with some toasts from their family and friends. The sun decided to peak out for just a bit so we snuck out for a few more portraits on the property. After dinner the dance floor was packed with everyone dancing and having a great time. Thank you Cheryl and David for having us along for the day and allowing us to capture your wedding. We had an amazing time celebrating with you both!
