Now that the blog has gotten a facelift I am all about blogging. It’s hard to choose which wedding to start with from this past season, I love them all so much. I recently shared a couple images of the bride Jenny on our instagram and facebook page so that was why I decided to start here. We shot their engagement session in Downtown Lowell (that is on the list to blog…it was a good one). We were so excited for their wedding since they are such a sweet couple & the day didn’t disappoint. We had shot for the first time at the Bedford Village Inn in July (that wedding will be coming to the blog soon) & it was fun to come back in the Fall.
I started the day with the ladies, they were all ready when I arrived…I think Jenny was a little nervous and confused the timeline we had planned and was dressed when I arrived. It was no big deal and we just rolled with it moving right into the first look. Jenny took some time to read a sweet card from Brendan.
While I was hanging out with the ladies, Drew headed to where the guys were getting ready and took some shots of Brendan hanging out with his groomsmen. We then didn’t waste any time and got started with the first look. I just love how both Jenny & Brendan were full of emotions during their first look. I think it caught Brendan off guard to be so emotional, but I love it, and it was absolutely the sweetest. Love the outdoor space at the Bedford Village Inn, all the flowers and plants in the space are just gorgeous and it’s all perfectly tucked into the property. Can you even handle the hotness of these two? Jenny’s Dad popped over and we of course had to grab some shots with him. He was just beaming, so happy and proud of his daughter. Drew took the guys to another area while I hung out with the ladies. Look at this gorgeous group of bridesmaids. They were all so great to work with too, which made my job easier! I’m not going to lie, when I saw the bridal party was 10 ladies, I was a little worried about how quickly we could move through photos, it wasn’t a problem at all. Drew off with the big group of groomsmen & Dad’s all looking so handsome! Love this barn on the property. The steps in the front of the reception space were perfect to get a group shot of the full wedding party together. Being able to have a party this large at different heights and layers was important to fit them all into the image. Then since we were right in the front we used the silo’s for a few more portraits of Jenny+Brendan. I love the ivy trailing up the silos, so much pretty texture. Before we knew it, it was time for the ceremony. Look how happy Brendan’s parents are walking down the aisle. Like I said before, the day was filled with so much love. Jenny’s mom was escorted by her brothers. Jenny’s Uncle officiated the ceremony and it was filled with lots of laughs and lots of love & some happy tears. It was a perfect ceremony. I love this candid moment of Jenny+Brendan after making their way down the aisle. They were ready to party!! Before we headed to the reception, we had lots of family photos to get during cocktail hour. The wedding was filled with so many gorgeous details. The flowers and greenery was stunning and I loved the tall branches and candles in the centerpieces. It was great how it added some height, but you could still see through it. They had an guestbook from their engagement session & used some images from their session to decorate, which I love when couples do. So many laughs and tears during the toasts. Which I always love. I feel like your wedding day is the day to be emotional and it’s totally okay to shed a few tears with your family and friends. The dance floor was packed all night long, which I love. It’s my absolute favorite to shoot the guests having fun and letting loose on the dance floor. I also like to bust a few dance moves with everyone too.
Like I’ve already said. It was such a lovely day and we’re so happy Jenny+Brendan had us shoot their wedding! I’ve got to get all the vendor details for the day, what I do know though is linked below right now.
