Katy+Ian | Coonamessett Inn | Falmouth Wedding
It was a mild day (compared to what we’ve had recently!!) at the end of December when Katy & Ian got married. We traveled down to Falmouth to spend the day at the Coonamessett Inn. Katy was getting ready on site at the Inn and Ian started the day off at his parents house just a few minutes down the road. Katy and Ian were surrounded by lots of love from their family and friends. Thanks for letting us be a part of your day. Enjoy your images!
Katy and Ian opted for a first look because of sunset happening so early. I love first looks, you have the opportunity to have a quiet moment together before the ceremony. Katy and Ian both had create a journal for each other with notes and images from their engagement. They shared them with each other during their first look.
Katy you are STUNNING! I died over the shrug, perfect for a winter wedding.
Finally it was time to head to the church for the ceremony. The church was decorated beautifully for Christmas.
Katy and Ian’s niece was eager to congratulate them and snuck up to the alter during their first kiss. Such an adorable and sweet moment!
The details of this wedding are to die for. Can you even handle the cake in front of the Christmas Tree!?! It’s GORGEOUS!! Also the flowers are the perfect combination of Christmas without screaming Christmas.
Our friend Kate, did an amazing job on the designing and creating the invitations! Love the navy, cream and gold color palette.
Ian’s Dad performs acapella and they serenaded us during the reception. It was very sweet.
The best way to end your first dance, with a romantic dip!
