We are excited for Katy+Ian’s wedding this coming December. Since it’ll be quite a bit chillier for their wedding we met up in Falmouth for their engagement session in August. We hit up Nobska Beach and Lighthouse, which was a lovely spot for their session. We had other options, but then decided we didn’t need to go anywhere else.
It was certainly a little windy and we had to be careful with Katy’s dress while shooting. She was a trooper and I love this shot with a little movement in her skirt. We ventured away from the light house a bit and found this little space with a bench that overlooked the water. Next we went down the street to the beach. Ian grew up in Falmouth so this is a beach he has grown up going to. Katy mentioned a photo of Ian jumping off the stairs here as a child, but Ian didn’t feel like recreating it 🙂 It was an overcast day, but it was still gorgeous. I love that you can see the lighthouse in the distance in the images below. This one would make a perfect canvas print. Another one that I just love! Katy, you are gorgeous!! Katy+Ian, we can’t wait for your wedding at the Coonamessett Inn!
