Weddings

We had a great day shooting at the Danversport Yacht Club for Kim+Matt’s wedding. It was a gorgeous day in August. We started the day getting ready at the hotel in Peabody and then went over to Danvers. Kim wore a beautiful dress by Maggie Sottero! Kim tucking her vows into her dress. We laughed about it, but then agreed it was the best place to keep them.
Such a gorgeous day! I love the plants that frame the ceremony location at the Danversport Yacht Club! Instead of having the best man carry the rings, Kim and Matt had their Moms bring the rings up. It was a sweet way to include them. Matt’s Dad was also included, he did a reading. Kim saw this photo and wanted to have one with each of her flower girls (her new nieces). The girls had no idea what was going on. It was quite funny. The bridesmaids looked lovely in their Bill Levkoff bridesmaids dresses. The shade of blue (I believe it’s called glacier) is gorgeous and was perfect for a summer wedding. Kim+Matt’s nephew being adorable! I love Kim’s laugh! She has such a good laugh, you could tell she was having an amazing day 🙂 Who doesn’t love a cathedral veil. It screams bridal and I love it! Soon it was time to get the party started! Many adorable little people were at the wedding! Kim and her Dad had a crasher during their first dance. kim+matt_0056 Matt’s Mom tucked one of his action figures from his childhood in his pocket during their dance. I think he’s the Green Lantern. kim+matt_0074 We stole Kim and Matt for just a few minutes to grab some more portraits during sunset. Then my favorite thing ever happened (if you read our blog you already know it’s my favorite). It was time for the soul train line. It takes all I have in me to not drop my camera and start busting a move.
