We had a fabulous time shooting Abbie+Billy’s wedding a couple weeks ago at Moraine Farm in Beverly, MA. It ended up being a beautiful day (even though rain threatened us all day). We started the day at the Salem Waterfront Hotel where everyone was getting ready. I spent some time with Abbie and the bridesmaids, while Drew hung out with the guys. Abbie’s dress was an absolutely stunning lace dress. You are going to fall in love with the back detail. It is GORGEOUS!
We finished up at the hotel and then headed to the Estate at Moraine Farm to finish getting ready. It was a quick drive from Salem to Beverly.
The flowers had just been dropped off when we arrived. The Flower Mill did an amazing job on all the bouquets. The house on the Estate offers gorgeous rooms to get ready in. The bridal suite has so many lovely details and lots of space to finish getting ready.
Abbie’s dress had lots of buttons which required all the bridesmaids to help button.
The guys looking handsome and ready to leave Salem and head to Beverly! After getting ready the girls and I went outside for a few portraits before the guys arrived on site. The front doors provided a perfect backdrop for portraits.
The bridesmaids look stunning in the perfect shade of yellow!
Abbie wore her grandmother’s brooch in her hair. It was such a sweet and romantic touch.
Once the gentlemen arrive to Moraine Farm it was time to shoot some portraits.
We ended up waiting to start the ceremony due to a mishap with one of the buses picking guests up at one of the hotels. We were ready to go as soon as the final bus arrived! The backdrop of the gorgeous house made for an amazing entrance for Abbie and her Mom.
The ceremony was full of sweet and heartfelt moments. Billy’s brother, Chris, officiated the ceremony.
We then snuck away for some portraits of the wedding party.
The reception was full of amazing details created by the bride (and her family and friends).
Next it was time to party! Soon after the reception started the rain finally came through, but it didn’t matter and everyone had an amazing time dancing the night away under the tent.
