Jen and Ian have been together for a long time, meeting while in College at Wheaton College in MA. After meeting in College, Jen decided to move out to California where Ian is from and they have been living happily in Southern Cali (who wouldn’t be happy living in So Cal?) July 1st they changed their status to husband and wife and we were lucky to be there to capture it all for them. Our good friend Kate (of Kate Guillette Photography) was the Maid of Honor and decided shooting the wedding & being MOH might be a little tough! We spent the morning with them getting ready and shooting their first look at the Marriott in Worcester. Then we all headed out to Barre MA to The Harding Allen Estate for their ceremony & reception.
I loved Jen’s Maggie Sottero Dress. It’s one I haven’t seen in person before (we don’t have this specific dress at Chantilly Place). I loved the sash detail at the waist. Kate (our friend & the MOH) bought Jen this great hanger! It’s a great detail for photos (way better then those ugly plastic hangers!) I loved Jens colored shoes. The bow detail was super cute. Ian and the groomsmen looked great in their kilts. The photo on the left Ian was showing me what he had stored in his sporran (kilt purse). Just the most important items! Jen you are stunning. These images were taken after the ceremony. She switched her hair up and added this super fun feather hair piece. First Look. Jen peeking around the tree we had Ian hidden behind. After the first look we headed to The Harding Allen Estate and did some of the portraits before the ceremony. I love the image of Jen & Ian on the right. The wedding party was lots of fun and rowdy. They loved hamming it up for photos. There was lots of laughs during the ceremony! After the ceremony we did a few more portraits in front of the Harding Allen. Next up: The Reception! (plus all the great vendors!)
