Xavier’s 1 month session (+family) | Warwick, Rhode Island

We headed down to Rhode Island for a portrait session on Sunday.  Drew’s parents live in Fall River, MA (which is only a 20 minutes from Providence).  We went to their house first and Drew & Prue hung out with the family while I headed to Warwick RI to meet the newest member of my family (my cousin Michael is Xavier’s Dad).  I was excited to welcome this little nugget to the world and to have the chance to photograph him.  I also took some time to shoot Xavier’s big sister Trinity and some with the entire family.  Trinity was a blast and hammed it up for me, she is a little super model.  Trinity and I played in her room a bit and then spent some time outside, until it started spitting on us a bit.  Xavier was a perfect little model, he didn’t sleep, which is to be expected with a one month old.  If you want sleepy time newborn photos it’s best to do it during the first 2 weeks.  While he didn’t sleep he didn’t really cry and most of the time looked at the camera or towards the window.  At 1 month old he already knows how to find the light! 🙂
