Newborn images of Wesley + Big Sister Mya | Lowell MA Portraits

Sorry to have neglected you blog, the Correia family has been dealing with sickness.  Prue first came down with an ear infection and a pretty bad cough.  We caught it early enough, so it wasn’t so bad.  I think what was worse was the fact that Drew and I were feeling sick.  It’s no fun taking care of a sick child, it’s even less fun when both parent’s aren’t feeling so hot.  Prue and I spent a few days vegging out on the couch.  I was in the midst of updating our website so that was the priority.  Blog, I am back and ready to blog the fun sessions we’ve had over the past week!

My cousin Sarah and I were both pregnant at the same time, Mya made her appearance a week before Prue.  This time around it’s just Sarah (no second baby for us yet).  I had the pleasure of going over and hanging out a bit and shooting some photos of both Mya and the new little nugget Wesley.  Even if I wasn’t going to take photos of Mya like I planned, once I got there I would have been.  We immediately went into her room and played with her toys,  she told her mom to leave us alone, and the 2 of us just hung out in her room.  Prue and Mya are so much alike in that way, but perhaps most 2 year olds are like that!  When I told her I needed to go take some photos of her little brother she got quite upset, luckily she got over it without too many tears.

Playing with the Meowsic keyboard, Prue has one too.  We love this toy 🙂  All the toys by B toys are really great, Target carries a bunch of them, but you can find them at lots of places.  If you have kids check out their toys!

Mya has such stunning eyes!  It took me some work to get her to look at me, but I was ready and nabbed this great image of her.

Introducing little nugget Wesley!  He was 12 days old when we took these photos and did not want to sleep for us.  We fed him, the room was super warm and he had other plans.  We still got some cute photos of him, we just weren’t able to get those super snugglie sleeping photos that I love to get of newborns.  I got a few that would trick you into thinking he slept!

Thank you for letting me come hang out with you guys!  I had lots of fun and can’t wait to see both Mya and Wesley grow up.
